Dead Space Cheat: Refill Stasis (and Special Ability) Energy

Press START during gameplay.

Input BLUE, YELLOW, YELLOW, BLUE, YELLOW to refill the stasis (special ability) energy meter. This code has no limit on its number of uses during gameplay.

 

Dead Space Cheat: Add Power Nodes (Once Per Game)

Press START during gameplay.

Input YELLOW, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW to add two more power nodes to your inventory.

Input YELLOW, BLUE, YELLOW, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW to add five power more nodes to your inventory.

You can only use the above inputs once per game (you do it again on a New Game Plus).

 

Dead Space Cheat: Add Space Credits (Once Per Game)

Press START during gameplay.

Input BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, BLUE to add 1000 credits.

Input BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, YELLOW to add 2000 more credits.

Input BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, BLUE, YELLOW to add 5000 credits.

Input BLUE, YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW, BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, to add 10.000 credits.

The above inputs may be used once per game (you can do it again on a New Game Plus).

 

Dead Space Cheat: Refill O2

Press START during gameplay

Input BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW to refill oxygen. This code may be used any number of times during play.

 

Dead Space Unlockable: Impossible Mode

To unlock Impossible Mode, beat the game once through in its entirety on any difficulty setting.

 

Dead Space Unlockable: Level Six Suit Schematic

To unlock the Level Six Suit Schematic, complete the game once through in its entirety on the normal difficulty setting.

 

Dead Space Unlockable: Random Goodies

To unlock ten Power Nodes and 50,000 credits, complete the game for the first time once through in its entirety on any difficulty setting.

 

Dead Space Unlockable: Back Story Log Entries

To unlock the back story log entries, complete the game once through in its entirety on the normal difficulty setting.

 

Dead Space Unlockable: Secret Achievements

  • Brute Force: Kill a Brute.

     

     

  • Exterminator: Kill Leviathan.

     

     

  • Playing Catch: Use Kinesis to grab one of the pods the Leviathan or Brute throws at you.

     

     

  • Kickin' It: Let a Lurker grab you 10 times and successfully escape from it.

     

     

  • Don't get cocky, kid: Make it through the ADS Cannon part in Chapter 4 with over 50% shield remaining.

     

     

  • Get off my ship!: Kill the Slug.

     

     

  • Slugger: Kill the Slug with over 50% shield remaining.

     

     

  • Mindless Prey: Kill the Hive Mind.

     

 

Dead Space Hint: Ammo-4-U

Conserving ammunition is vital as you get deeper into the ship. The old exploit from Resident Evil 4 works with the weapons here too. When you are out of ammo and have a Bench and several Power Nodes, you can refill the ammunition in the weapon to its new maximum by upgrading to a capacity node in that weapon.

 

Dead Space Hint: Peng Achievement

You can get the Peng achievement by using Kinesis to pick up the Peng Statue in Chapter 11. It's in the room where you first landed on the Ishimura and exited the Kellion. Look between the two walkways and you should see a little golden item on the floor.
